本動画は、東京のゲンロンカフェで行われたトークショーを収録したものです。 【収録時のタイトル】 山森みか×上田洋子 「コロナ禍から見るイスラエル社会――宗教、民族、国家、家族」 【収録日】 2020/6/5 【収録時のイベント概要】 数ヶ月にわたって続いたコロナ禍も、ついに出口へと向かい始めているように見える。 まだ安心できるわけではないとはいえ、日本でも緊急事態宣言が解除され、6月19日には県境をまたいだ移動の自粛も解除されることになっている。 世界的に規制が緩和されてきており、イタリアではシェンゲン圏からの観光客受け入れも再開される。 ロシアでは延期になっていた戦勝記念パレードが、6月24日に開催されることになった。 では、中東のイスラエルではどのような状況なのか。 テルアビブ大学に勤務し、同地でロックダウンを経験した山森みか氏に現地からオンラインでご登壇いただき、ゲンロンの上田洋子が聞き手となってお話をうかがう。 山森氏には先日、「ゲンロンα」に、「イスラエルにおけるコロナ禍ーーユダヤ教超正統派と世俗派のあいだで」をご寄稿いただいた。 イスラエルという、ユダヤ人の移民（帰還者）を各国から受け入れて成り立っている新しい国、かつ、同じユダヤ人でも、超正統派から世俗派まで社会層が分かれ、さらに、アラブ人（ムスリムとクリスチャン）やドゥルーズ教徒などもその国民に含む、きわめて複雑な社会が、ウイルスにどう対峙したのか、非常に興味深い報告となっている。 イベントでは、この論考で紹介されたコロナ禍とイスラエル社会における宗教や民族の問題をさらに掘り下げつつ、背景となっている社会や暮らし、歴史についても詳しく解説していただく。 山森氏はイスラエル人の夫をもち、1994年から家族とともにイスラエルに暮らしている。著書『「乳と蜜の流れる地」から――非日常の国イスラエルにおける日常生活』（新教出版社）では、ユダヤ教の慣習、民族問題、徴兵制、家族のありかたなどが、自身の経験をもとに論じられており、興味深い。 宗教的慣習が人々のふるまいを大きく規定しているイスラエル社会で、コロナ禍によってどのような問題が起こり、どのような解決法が探られたのか。 また、民族離散の経験から、家族やコミュニティを大切にするユダヤ人は、集まることができない状況をいかに乗り切ったのか。 コロナ禍があぶり出す現代社会と宗教の問題をイスラエルからの最新情報とともに考える。 コロナ禍における世界の状況と宗教の問題について、現地からレポートしていただくシリーズ、4月の高橋沙奈美氏によるドイツ・ブレーメンからの報告に続く第二弾！ 【イベントページへのリンク】 https://genron-cafe.jp/event/20200605/
