本動画は、東京のゲンロンカフェで行われたトークショーを収録したものです。 【収録時のタイトル】 大澤聡×仲正昌樹 「『ポスト・モダンの左旋回』のゆくえ――教養と理論の死をめぐる9年半越しの対話」【四天王シリーズ #7】 【収録日】 2018/12/17 【大澤聡からの案内文】 「ぜひ呼んでほしい！」との視聴者からの熱烈なコメントがニコ生で何度か流れたことにおこたえして、仲正昌樹さんをお招きします。前回分のゲスト片山杜秀さんに引きつづいて、仲正さんもゲンロンカフェ初登場となります。ということは次回のゲストも……とフラグが立ちそうではありますが、それはさておき。 ちょっと個人的なことを記すと、僕がはじめて人前でトークイベントをしたのは2009年5月で、もう10年ちかく前になります。そのときのお相手がじつは仲正昌樹さんでした。僕は聞き手役として編集者のひとに指名されたわけです。イベントのタイトルは「学問の復権――人文主義と大学」（三省堂書店神保町本店）で、活字化したものが『教養主義復権論』（2010年）に収録されています。どんな会場の雰囲気だったのか、はたしてお客さんは盛り上がったのか、そのへんのことはすっかり忘れてしまいました（書斎のどこかにイベントの様子を記録したDVDがあるはず！）。ただ、個人的な関心にひきつけまくった若かった僕の問題提起にも、正面からじっくり時間を費やして応答してくださるその話しぶりが印象的で（おかげでそのあいだに僕は次の発言を練ることができたわけです）、緩急自在な一連の著書の舞台裏を垣間見たような気がしたのでした。今回の対談はそのとき以来、じつに9年半ぶり！ということになります。 さて、イベントは2部構成で考えています――片山杜秀さんの回とそこもあえて同じにしましたが、内容はもちろん異なります。 前半パートは「理論動向編」として、1990年代以降の諸学問の動向や「理論」の衰退をたどる予定です。『現代日本の批評』（2017、18年）をはじめいろいろなところで僕が参照例に持ち出してきた仲正さんの『ポスト・モダンの左旋回』（2002年／増補新版：2017年）の時代認識を復習しながら、あらためて90年代からゼロ年代にかけての日本の思想状況の展開を点検してみたいと思います。そこに、僕の『1990年代論』（2017年）を合流させることで、社会や文化のより広い文脈のなかで「ポスト・モダンの左旋回」の諸相を捉えなおしてみたい。というのも、このあたりに現在の思想的閉塞感の原因のいくらかは詰まっていると思うからです。 後半パートは「教養主義編」として、上記の『教養主義復権論』の続編を9年半越しに再開できたらと思っています。仲正さんは僕の『教養主義のリハビリテーション』（2018年）の特設サイトに書評を寄せてくださっているのですが、その末尾は「現場的教養」と「対話的教養」に引き付けるかたちで次のように結ばれています。「身体感覚を伴った知の実践経験が必要となる［…］。「教養」はそのための準備運動だ。私自身大学教員になってから、医療訴訟に関わったり、演劇制作に参加するなど、従来の専門からかなり遠い仕事をしているうちに、それを実感するようになった」。このあたりをフックに、最近のご関心を（なにせもう何年もお会いしていないので）お訊きできたらと考えています。できれば、こっそり仲正さんの“本の読み方”などもうかがえたらなと。 また、仲正さんの2冊の近著『ヘーゲルを越えるヘーゲル』（講談社現代新書、2018年10月）、および『ポストモダン・ニヒリズム』（作品社、2018年11月）も上記2つのテーマに密接に連関してくるはずです。とにもかくにも、膨大な入門書シリーズでも読者にたいへん定評のある仲正さんのお話、いくつものトピックがきれいに整理されていくことでしょう。ぜひご期待ください。会場でお待ちしております。 【イベントページへのリンク】 https://genron-cafe.jp/event/20181217/
