本動画は、東京のゲンロンカフェで行われたトークショーを収録したものです。 【収録時のタイトル】 市川真人×東浩紀×上田洋子「ドストエフスキーからソローキンへ──ロシア・ユートピアの現在形」 【収録日】 2014/03/25 【イベント概要】 2014年3月、東浩紀がモスクワへ飛んだ。作家ウラジーミル・ソローキン、キュレーター・マラート・ゲリマンに会うためだ。本来はチェルノブイリツアーのオプションだったはずのこの取材、しかし、学生のころドストエフスキーとタルコフスキーにはまり、「ソルジェニーツィン試論」でデビューした東にとってロシア文化には独特の愛着がある。 ソローキンはロシアのポストモダン作家。文体や筋のパターンを縦横無尽にあやつり、猥雑かつエレガントなロシア語で小説世界を展開することで知られる。『ロマン』『青い脂』『親衛隊士の日』等邦訳が複数あり、2013年10月に刊行した新作『テルリヤ』は最高傑作として高く評価されている。いまロシア文学で最も注目される人物。 他方でゲリマンは、日本ではあまり知られていないが、ロシア現代美術に市場原理を取り入れ、グローバルな流通を可能にしたキーマン。シャープな切り口のキュレーションのみならず、ネット上で情報ポータルを立ち上げ、ロシア現代美術の国内外での認知に大きく貢献している。2008年にペルミで開催した「ロシアの貧しいもの」展は、市の美術展の月間集客記録を更新し、まもなく会場の建物が市立現代美術館となり、ゲリマンは館長となった。 そんな二人と東はどんな議論を交わしたのか。保守強権のプーチン政権下のロシアで、文学やアートはいかにして自立と批評性を保っているのか。 昨年10月に来日したソローキンのインタビューおよび新作の抄訳は、市川真人が編集長を勤める『早稲田文学』に掲載された。市川は2013年11月のチェルノブイリツアーにも参加している。スラヴ世界の空気を肌で感じた市川に、モスクワ取材に同行したロシア文学者の上田洋子も加わり、取材動画を交えながらロシア文学、美術の最先端を独自視点で報告する。 【イベントページへのリンク】 http://genron-cafe.jp/event/20140325/
