 紙でこしらえたチープなテントの中、前座のコテコテの漫才がスベリマくるうちに、ちょっと見、アジアの歌姫だったテレサ・テンみたいな少女ピューが登場する。叶わぬ恋のやるせなさを、手振りをまじえながら、永遠のラブソングを切々と歌い上げる。始まった演奏は、昇りつめては、ゆるやかに凪いで、いつ果てるともしれない。これが、生きものの正しいテンポだ。雨のように、水のように、風のように、ゆっくり宇宙の運行につれそって急ごうとしない。
