７個のトランクを抱えて飛び込んだのは、ミャンマーの辺境。 そこで出会った200年前のラブソング。 これまであまり日本では紹介されることのなかった手つかずのピュアなミャンマーの伝統音楽を残したいという想いから、2013年の4月から5月にかけての40日間、ミャンマーの最大都市ヤンゴン、その中心部から少し離れた郊外の小さなスタジオに機材を持ち込み、録音、撮影を敢行。全ての演奏は現地の演奏家によるもので、その収録曲はおよそ100曲にのぼった。世界でも非常に珍しい、またアーカイブとしても非常に価値のある音源CD制作の録音風景の一部始終を撮影した貴重なドキュメンタリー。サインワイン、フネー、チーなどの楽器の演奏風景を中心に、僧院やヤンゴン芸術大学の若者たち、ミャンマーの正月の水かけ祭りの様子も収められている。映像からはミャンマーの楽器はどの様なもので、ミュージシャン達が如何に考え、悩み、録音していったかが生々しく伝わってくる。未だ謎に満ちた（or…
